GUIDED TOURS

I led 30-minute “ASK ME” tours, took part in training courses and meetings for curators, supervised the galleries and managed ticketing operations, as well as researching catalogues raisonnés and archival materials. Mediators are also responsible for the daily opening and closing procedures of the exhibition spaces.

GUIDED TOURS — RON MUECK

In 2020, Triennale began an eight-year collaboration with the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain in Paris, comprising a series of major exhibitions and performances in a dedicated space within the Palazzo dell’Arte, along with other initiatives. The collaboration marks the first solo exhibition in Italy of Australian sculptor Ron Mueck, whose works – at once hyperrealistic and enigmatic – establish an immediate sense of empathy with the viewer. The installation unfolds as both a physical and visual experience, composed of one hundred monumental sculptures in the form of a human skull, animal figures, women, men and children — inexhaustible iconographic symbols.

GUIDED TOURS — PITTURA ITALIANA OGGI

In the exhibition Pittura Italiana Oggi, painting unfolds as a living organism — a kaleidoscope that dismantles the conventions we are used to. The hands of different artists merge, inviting a shared experience of the work, further amplified by the large scale that allows viewers to immerse themselves directly in the paintings. The selected artists number 120, presenting a total of 119 works, since one was made by a duo. All are active and living at a precise historical moment — born between the 1960s and the early 2000s — to fully embody the hic et nunc. All the works were produced between 2020 and 2023, a deliberate curatorial choice to frame a precise time slice. This three-year period has deeply marked us from a human point of view: pandemic, war, artificial intelligence, a desire to recognise the present, alongside impulses to escape toward possible — or dystopian — futures. The exhibition also highlights a renewed engagement with surrealism, dreamlike and enigmatic images, and a constellation of themes that speak directly to our contemporary condition. There are no fixed labels, but shared sensibilities and recurring concerns that resonate across generations.

GUIDED TOURS — SIAMO FORESTA

Triennale Milano is a cultural institution that gathers all the complexities of the contemporary world in different forms: design, architecture, visual and performing arts. It is a place where art and design, creativity and technology, tradition and innovation meet. The institution exhibits works by major Italian and international architects, designers and artists. Exhibitions, conferences, meetings and performances shape its programme, stimulating reflections on the central themes of our society. My first guided tour was of the exhibition Siamo foresta, which draws inspiration from an aesthetic and political vision of the forest as an egalitarian multiverse of living beings – human and non-human – offering, as such, an allegory for a possible world beyond our anthropocentrism.
